Local David Harrington, of Midlands Strength Gym, Longford Town, now is a U80kg World Champion 2025. He was supported on the day by April Dardis, partner in life and business with Midlands Strength, and all the guys and girls at the gym who all cheered him on during his preparation for this and all events.

He also credits help from personal coach GSP Strongman Gym Galway and all the crew and Richies Strongman Nutrition.
David is already prepping for his next event in a few days, with an all natural strength strongman competition.
He is dedicated to all natural strength conditioning, besides a general gym with strongman event equipment, both he and April offer many classes for all levels.
