The Ballyboro under 10 team did not play with their usual fluency when they played Killoe Celtic on Sunday last. The Killoe lads emerged as convincing winners with Eoin Farrell finding the net for Ballyboro.

Team: Mikey Sorohan, Leon Malkowski, Ciaran McGloin, Eoghan Mullooly, Rian Hogan, Rian Shanley, Oisin Dillon. Subs: Sean O'Dowd, Eoin Connell, Evan Rooney, Keilon Gilmore.

The under 12 team are through to the quarter final of the Tynan Cup after they overcame the challenge of a plucky Castlepollard Celtic team by two goals to one. Ben Murphy and Christian Donlon were the Ballyboro goalscorers.

Team: Ronan Cox, Anthony Cox, Jack Casey, Jack Brogan, Billy Murray, Euan Cullen Christian Donlon, Ben Murphy, Daniel Hogan. Subs: Ethan Slattery, Rian Hogan, Luke Johnston, Aidan Kelly.

For the most part the under 14 game v Killoe Celtic was closely contested, but in the last quarter the Killoe boys finished stronger and won by six goals to three. Christian Donlon (2) and Matthew Heneghan were on target for Ballyboro.

The under 8s enjoyed themselves when they took part in a Blitz on Saturday last along with Ardagh and Melview.
Darragh Shanley, Darragh McGloin, Cian Shea, Donncha Farrell, Tom Hession, David Kenny, Tadhg O'Shea, Conor Kilcoyne, Joe Greally and Matthew Murphy all showed great potential for the future.

On this Friday night, at 8pm in Lanesboro CC, the producer Kevin Rowe will be present at the launch of the seven Oskar films to be screened at the Longford Arms Hotel on June 15.

The OSKAR Rehearsals will commence as follows: 1st April 18/19. 2nd April 25/26. 3rd May 2/3. 4th May 9/10. Filming will take place on the weekends of May 18/19 and May 25/26.

Fixtures: The U16s play Gaels United in Drumlish on Sunday at 2pm. The U14s are at home to Newtown on Sunday,2pm kick off. The U13s play Stonepark in Abbeycartron on Saturday at 2.30. The U13s are also in action on this Wednesday, April 10 when they play Melview in the quarter final of the David Flaherty Cup in Abbeycartron at 6.30.The under 11s play Abbey Rovers Stripes in Ballinamore at 1pm on Saturday.

The under 10s are at home to UCL Rhinos on Sunday with kick off at 11am.
