Third National senior swimming title for Breaststroke King Darragh Greene

Darragh Greene, winner of three Gold medals at the Irish Open Swimming Championships.

For the second year in succession Longford swimming star Darragh Greene has won three Gold medals in dominating the Breaststroke events at the Irish Open Championships at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.

The extremely talented Greene completed another magnificent hat-trick of National titles in producing yet another outstanding performance to win the 50m Breaststroke final, clocking 27.40 in a super swim this Saturday evening - setting a new Irish Open Championship record in the event.   

Earlier in the week Darragh from Newtownforbes won the 100m and 200m Breaststroke events and now looks ahead to the World Championships in South Korea in July.
