Declan McGerr from Granard was a recent winner of a Leinster Youths Boxing title in the Boys 2 41.5kg division in yet another success for a promising bunch of young Longford boxers.
Coached by Milly Kelly and Gordon Ward in Ballynacargy Boxing Club, Declan is now firmly focused on the 2023 All-Ireland Youths Championships in the National Stadium, Dublin in April.
