Birthday celebration
Congratulations to Susan Howard, Cloncumber, who celebrated ninety years of a wonderful life on Tuesday last. To mark the special occasion a party was held in The Rugby Club, Longford on Saturday night where Susan was joined by her family, neighbours and friends. We wish her many more years of health and happiness.

Word of thanks

Gortletteragh Community Care Committee wishes to thank all who supported their recent fundraising raffle. Thanks to all who sponsored prizes, and made donations on the night. Thanks also to Jimmy and Kathleen Fox for the use of their premises.

Autumn Club
Line dancing classes for the members commenced on Tuesday night Oct 22nd in the Community Centre from 8 to 9pm. and will continue on Tuesday nights at the same time for six weeks. This project is sponsored by Leitrim Sports Partnership and as many members as possible are encouraged to attend. The Autumn Club members are celebrating their annual night out on Saturday 9th November in Keenan’s, Tarmonbarry. Transport will be provided and all members travelling are asked to contact the Secretary at 0864046271 or 9636278 so that final reservations can be made.

Donation

The Drumgowna School Reunion book launch took place on Saturday 3rd August 2013 in Cornageeha Community Centre, Gortletteragh.  Following this successful event, a donation of 200 euro was made to North West Hospice by Mr Ned Heslin in lieu of work done by him for the committee. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved.
