Pilgrimage to Knock
Will take place on Sunday 1st September. A bus will travel to Knock on this date and will cost €16 per person. To book tickets please contact Fr Tiernan as soon as possible. The bus will leave Abbeyshrule at 09:40am and Carrickedmond at 9:50am.
The newly formed Carrickedmond folk group practices continue every Tuesday evening in Carrickedmond church from 8pm to 9pm. Anyone who can play a musical instrument or who is interested in signing is welcome to come along. The first folk mass will take place in September and once a month there after.
Tidy Towns Competition
2012 All Ireland tidy town winners Abbeyshrule have been nominated by the department of the Environment for the 2013 Canadian competition “Communities in Bloom”. The judging for this competition takes place from the 15th to the 17th August when judges from Canada and England will visit the village. Best of luck to all concerned in this competition.
Will re-commence in St Sinneachs hall Carrickedmond in September as follows. Wednesday from 9pm for adults Friday for junior players and Sunday from 6-7pm for secondary school players. NEW CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEES
