Arva Trotters meet at the Breffni Arms Hotel each Sunday at 11.15am and Thursdays at 8.00 pm. Everyone welcome to join in.

Latin School Restoration Fund

Saturday 22nd August at 9.30pm in the Breffni Arms Hotel Arva promises to be an exciting evening of music and song. Emerald Storm are a new vibrant group made up of talented musicians and singers and on the night they will be putting their own unique spin on traditional Irish song, dance and music through energetic arrangements. Your support would be greatly appreciated as this event is a fundraiser to carry out improvements to the Latin School, Moyne. Tickets are on sale €10 each and are available in Moyne cross stores, Corrigans and Lynch’s of Arva. Please note that due to a clash of time with another event the show will now commence at 9.30 .

Sponsorship

St. Mary’s National School, Arva Centenary Committee are still looking for sponsorship for their Centenary Book. A page can be sponsored for €50.If you would like to sponsor a page please contact Padraig Brady or Cormac O Donnell. Our centenary book is taking shape nicely but if there is anyone that has any pictures or articles that you would like included please contact David Brady on (086) 447 5514 or Edel Cadam on (086) 3630386. More details of our Centenary celebrations plans will be published over the coming weeks.
