Women in Touch: WIT will resume their weekly meeting on Tuesday next, 15th January from 10am – 12noon. This is the perfect time to join local women, enjoying a couple of hours out of your regular week.

Women in Touch: WIT will resume their weekly meeting on Tuesday next, 15th January from 10am – 12noon. This is the perfect time to join local women, enjoying a couple of hours out of your regular week.

Granard Art Club: Meet every Wednesday morning from 10am – 12pm, starting back this Wednesday 16th January. New members welcome.

Crafters United: Every Thursday morning 10am – 12noon. A New Year and new opportunities abound to learn and enjoy new skills and crafts – open to everyone!

Youth Groups: Cool Girls Club will resume on Tuesday 29th January and Boys Zone Club resumes on Thursday 31st. An exciting programme of events for Spring/Summer are planned.

Santa Sleigh Art competition: Entries of Santa on his Sleigh visit to Granard will be judged shortly so get your artwork in to the Centre. Three categories: Up to six years; 6-8 years and 8-13yrs. Great prizes to be won!

Ageing With Confidence: starts Tuesday morning, February 5th, from 10am – 12noon. This is an exciting course which will run over eight Tuesdays. Invaluable for building confidence and living life to the full. Open to men and women of all ages – booking essential. Please contact the Centre.

Positive Life Skills & Mindfulness: A six week course commencing in February that will provide an insight into how using positive thoughts and mindfulness techniques can enhance our everyday quality of living. Based on demand, this course can be delivered during the day or evening. Please call the Centre for more details and booking.

Horticulture Course: A four-week horticulture course will commence mid-February 2013. A practical hands-on course which will include: landscaping, seed/bedding, plant sowing, veg and fruit growing, composting and growing produce in a poly tunnel. It is also hoped to run a Stone Wall Building and Woodcarving course – subject to sufficient interest. Call the Centre for details & book your place.

Unused Clothing / Unwanted Gifts: Always welcome and we very much appreciate the great support we get from our community. All proceeds raised help fund local activities.

A special Thank You: to the principal, staff and students of Cnoc Mhuire Secondary School for their wonderful fund-raising efforts in designing, producing and marketing their fabulous Christmas cards in aid of the Centre. We appreciate their support very much.
