Choir practice
There will be a choir practice on Monday night next, December 2nd at 8pm in Holy Trinity Church to prepare for Christmas. All members are asked to attend. New members welcome.

Club membership
Club membership for 2014 is now available for 100 euro. This included lotto for 52 weeks and you are entered into a confined draw or 1 All Ireland hurling and football ticket.
Whist Drive
The monthly whist drive takes place on Tuesday, December 3 at 8.30pm in Currycahill CC. All welcome.
Glasses
A pair of glasses were found in the Post Office recently. Please call in if you lost a pair.
Santa
Santa will be coming to Ballinalee on Sunday December 15 at 3pm and not on Sunday next as previously advertised in these notes. Proceeds to go to Chernobyl Children’s charity. Venue is Rawle’s.
Sewage
A reminder to all households re the discounted connection charge for the new sewage system. Forms available in the Post Office.
Movember
Please support my Movember fundraising night on Sunday evening next at 7pm in Farrells. Funds raised go towards Temple St Hospital and Kids Paradise Dreams Come Through. The funds are to help the organisation who have helped both Max Wenman, Soran and Michael Murphy, Soran who has been attending Temple St and Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin for a numbers of years.
Honk- a Musical comedy
The Cnoc Mhuire Transition Year class are currently putting the finishing touches to Honk, a musical comedy that is based on the story of the ugly duckling. It is a heart-warming tale that will be enjoyed buy both young and old. The musical takes place in the school sports hall on 17th, 18th and 19th December at 7.30pm. Tickets can be purchased from the school office on 043 6686231 or through the Honkline on 085 8409506. They are available now for the bargain price of 10 euro each. So why not treat the family this festive season and come along to what promises to be a fantastic night’s entertainment.
Cille Yew Tree Players
After many weeks of rehearsals, our upcoming production of “A Stolen Child” directed by Mickey Kenny will take to the stage on Sat 30th Nov, Sun 1st Dec and Mon 2nd Dec in Ennybegs CC. Show starts at 8.30pm and doors open at 8pm nightly. Please note Saturday night mass time will change to 7.30pm to facilitate parking. Tickets 10 euro. Booking essential. Get out get active
Sean Connollys Club are organising the Get Out Get Active again this New Year. Start up date January 4th 2014. Meetings will be held over to next couple of weeks to arrange teams and programme. All players and members are requested to get involved. As this was a very successful event last year and also enjoyable after the Christmas festivities. With a little extra effort the number of teams could be doubled this time. Facebook will be giving all the info shortly and just to get in a little walking practice before Christmas. Lights will be at Maguire Park on Tuesday and Friday nights 7pm to 9pm.
