The death has occurred of Tommy O’Shea of Forhill, Newtowncashel, Longford. Reposing at his home today, Monday, until removal at 7pm to arrive at the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday, at 12 noon followed by Burial in Saints Island Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Hospice Home Care. House private please today, Monday, from 4pm.
Frances Smythies, Longford Town
The death has taken place of Frances Smythies (nee Clarke) of Lancashire, England and formerly of 3 O’Connell Terrace, Longford Town, Longford. Pre-deceased by her husband Derek. Daughter of the late Frank (Nobby) and the late Bridie. Prayers in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Sunday at 4pm. Interment of ashes will take place afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
The staff and management of the Longford Leader wish to extend their sympathies to the bereaved.
