Annaduff ICA are holding a Sale of Work/Cake Sale in Annaduff Community Centre on this Sunday December 15th at 11.30.

Goal Mile

Noel Mahon is once again running the hugely successful Goal Mile at the Bornacoola G.A.A Grounds in Dromod on New Years Day. Guests on the day include Sean Mahon, Charlie McGettigan, Seamus O’Rourke and Olympian Laura Reynolds.

Death of Jimmy Clyne

The death took place in Celbridge, Co. Kildare of James B. (Jim) Clyne, formerly of Jamestown at Maynooth Community Care Unit. Jim is deeply regretted by his wife Maura, daughters Deirdre and Eimear, sons Shane and Niall. Removal took place to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge with burial in Donacomper Cemetery. May he rest in Peace.

Nativity Play

The Christmas Nativity Play by the Annaduff National School Children takes place per usual before the 7pm Mass on Christmas Eve in Drumsna.

Bingo

Bingo continues on this Thursday night December 5th at 8.30.

Congratulations to Conor Ward, son of Tony and the late Peggy, Corduff on his engagement to Siobhan McNally, Longford and to Alan Rowley, son of Mel and the late Teresa, on his engagement to Elizabeth Conlon from Clare.

Parish/G.A.A Lotto

At the draw held in McLoughlin’s, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 13,14,16,21. The 50 euro winner was Rose McWeeney, Drumlim. The 25 euro winners were Junior McWeeney, Drumlim; Liam Ward, Gortinty; John Dowling, Dromod; Michael Burke, Albert Lock.

Carol Service

Annaduff National School Carol Service/Christmas Concert takes place on December 18 at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff.

Sean Nos Christmas Show

Sean Nos ar an tSionann Christmas Show in St. Mary’s Hall, Ck-on-Shannon on Sunday next December 15th in aid of Chernoble where Edwina Guckian will be working in February 2014.
