Active Retirement: We are taking our Summer break; we had our last meeting on Thursday 9th June. However we have some day trips planned. The first is a trip to Moneygall and then on to the Rock of Cashel. This day out is for members only. We are going to Knock on Thursday July 7th. This trip is open to non members. Our members had their Coffee Morning on Thursday for to raise awareness of world elder abuse day, 80 euro was raised and is being sent on to Active Retirement Association. Prayer Group: Each Tuesday in Tommy and Collette Doyle’s at 8.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

AG Bingo: On Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.  Your support always welcome.

Cemetery Sunday: Many thanks to all the people who came in such large numbers for Cemetery Sunday on in Carra. A special word of thanks to all the people who prepared the Cemetery so fittingly for the occasion. Please try to keep up the good work.

Tidy Towns: The Tidy Towns Committee are holding a meeting on Thursday 16th June in the Sports Centre.

Family Field Day: Thank you to all the people who supported out Family Field Day. Taking in to consideration the bad weather, a good crowd attended. More details next week on this event.

Abbeylara GFC: Congratulations to Abbeylara G.F.C on the successful win over Mullinalaghta last Saturday in Granard, in the first game of the Championship. Well Done.
