A church gate collection will be taken up at Killashee and Clondra churches on Sunday, 23 March. All money donated goes to the local Community Games branch in Killashee. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

St. Brigid’s GAA Club

The next lotto draw will be held in The Richmond Inn, Clondra on Sunday, 23 March for a jackpot of €5,900. The lotto team for McPartlands is Tony McKiernan, Ronan Skelly, Pat Farrell, Eddie Flynn and Bosco Skelly. Yearly lotto subscriptions are available for €45. Please get in touch with Damien Edgeworth on 068362969. Club members will be calling to houses in the area with subscription forms.


Registration of members is now due, €20 for non - players- €40 for players and €50 for families. Please give registration fees to Dan Magan or Sean Sheridan. Fundraising: We are continuing to collect scrap metal, any scrap metal you may have lying around can be dropped in Liam Farrells yard. Sympathy: The club would like to express sympathy to Gus Hanley and family on the death of Louise, which occurred in London recently. May her Soul Rest In Peace.

Race Day

County Longford GAA race day is on Wednesday, 30th April in Punchestown Race Course. Tickets €100, limited number available, so get yours from any of the club committee members. A great day out and maybe a winner or two to celebrate.

Tidy Towns

Killashee tidy Towns committee wish to express their heartfelt sympathy to their chairman, Gus Hanley and the Hanley family on the untimely death of their daughter and sister Louise in London recently.

Table quiz

Longford Toastmasters are holding a table quiz in Longford Rugby club on Thursday 27th March at 9pm ( team registration at 8.30). Table of four persons cost €40. Raffle and spot prizes on the night. All welcome.
