Ballinamuck National School Enrolment for Junior Infants for September 2015 will commence on Monday 23rd February to Friday 27th March at St Patrick’s National School Ballinamuck. Enrolment forms can be obtained from the school office.

Cemetery AGM

Our AGM has been re-scheduled to Wednesday 18th February at 8.00pm in the Community Centre, members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend. If there are no members of the public/parish present then we cannot hold our AGM and will have to re-schedule again. Thanking you for your support to date.

Yoga Classes

Yoga Classes: 6 Week Course continue this Thursday, 12th February, The Village Inn, (Side door to upstairs), Drumlish 7.30 to 8.55pm. Just bring mat, rug and bottle of water. Registration 15 min. before Class. Tel (087)2868254 for booking.

Social Dancing 

Classes continue at the Community Centre, Drumlish this Wednesday at 8.30pm, This class is for all ages (no age restriction!!)  and all abilities, if your looking to enhance that first dance on your wedding day,  learn a few moves or shed a few ounces after the festive session. Come along join in the fun.

Ballinamuck Bingo continues in Ballinamuck on Tuesday nights at 8.30p.m. More local support would be appreciated.

Gaeltacht Scholarship Forms

The 2015 GAA Gaeltacht Scholarship forms are now available for anyone interested in attending the Gaeltacht this year. All applicants must be 13 years or older on 1st January 2015. If interested please contact 0864017301 for the form and any further information.

Ballinamuck Tidy Towns

We are holding our annual table quiz on Friday 20th February in Dillons Bar at 9pm. Tables of 4, €40, raffle & refreshments on the night. Your support would be greatly appreciated, spread the word, bring a friend!

Monster clean up

Drumlish Tidy Town’s give advance notice of their upcoming clean up event scheduled for Saturday, 7th March next. The most littered approach road continues to be the 3 Km stretch from Kilnashee to the GAA Park at Monaduff. All parish organisations, residents, and business interests along the route are invited to lend a hand for a couple of hours.  

Text alert

AGM will be held on Wednesday, the 11th of February in the community centre, Drumlish at 7.30pm. The €5 text service renewal is now due. Envelopes are available in Drumlish Post office, Ballinamuck Post office, from local shops, Paraic Brady, Tommy McAvoy, Ken Kerrigan. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting.

Art classes

Art classes start on Wednesday mornings in Drumlish community centre at 10am-12 noon for six weeks, for all those creative individuals or those wanting to find their creative side, come along and join in the fun.

Cookery programme

Cookery programme will commence in the evenings very shortly, the theme is the importance of fish in the diet, physical activity and stress. All those interested in the evening class can contact by text on 0879181787. Morning class will run at a later date.

Station Masses

Those who wish to have a station Mass in the Drumlish area of the parish should contact Fr. Ber. The station is for the area, so you should not be expecting a formal invitation, come and pray.

St. Mary’s N.S. Drumlish Enrolment

St Helens

St Helens registration night will take place this coming Wednesday night the 11th of February from 7.30pm  in Monaduff Clubhouse.  All girls who play for St Helen’s must be registered for insurance purposes. All Minors must be accompanied by an adult as permission forms must be filled in. It is very important that all Players are registered. Fee: 20 euro per player discount offered to 3 or more players in the one family.

Fr Manning Gaels Lotto takes place next Monday, the 16th in the Tavern, Drumlish. Prize money is €8,600.
