Again, thanks to the people of Cashel for a fantastic response to our newly formed text alert system. Mobile numbers are now being compiled and anyone who still wishes to be included can drop name, address and mobile number with 5 euro into box in Kenny’s Country Store. Further update next week.
Parish Mission
The Parish Mission is now one week away. Members of the Vincentian ‘Ember’ team are to speak at both Masses last weekend. They commenced house to house visitation last Monday the 22nd of September. We welcome the three members of the ‘Ember’ team, Fr. Aidan Galvin, CM, Fr. Seán Farrell CM, and Mr. Thady O’Connor.
Boil water notice
A boil water notice was issued by Irish Water and Longford County Council on Wednesday, the 3rd of September. Most of the southern half of the Parish of Cashel is affected. Specific details, advice and instructions are given with the notice.
Board of management
A meeting of the School Board of Management, will be held in the school this Thursday, the 25th of September, at 8pm.
Enrolment mass
The enrolment mass for First confession and First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, the 5th of October at 10.30am.
