Just to let people know work will commence on the playground in the village in the next couple of weeks. Contracts have been signed and the majority of the funding has been sourced from the rural development programme. However due to budget constraints the grant toward the playground was capped. I have sourced a large percentage of the local shortfall with funds from the previous Amenity Group, the 50% of the 2012 parish dance and grants from Longford county council. Contact myself if you wish to help with the shortfall 087 2915072.
