Netbooks: The school has carried out an evaluation the use of Netbooks for First Years. They are a resounding success with the First Years and their introduction has meant that heavy bags are a thing of the past for this group. Wish they were introduced for Fifth Years!

Parent/Teacher Meeting: There was an excellent attendance at the Leaving and Junior Certs’ parent/teacher meeting this week where parents heard all the good news about their offspring’s endeavours!!! Keep up the good work everyone.

Trip to Monaghan: Fifth and Sixth Years from the Leaving Certificate Applied class are going on a trip to Irish Country Quads in Monaghan on 30th November. Watch this space for further details!!

Trip to Letterfrack: Furniture College Senior students are looking forward to the trip to the furniture college in Letterfrack currently being organised by Mr Breslin. In the past a trips to Letterfrack have proven useful for exam students because of the quality of design in the exhibits to be observed on the day.

Soccer: First and Second Years are entered in a soccer blitz this week and we wish them the best of luck. Further details next week.

Football: The Senior team has an important Leinster match next week and we wish them the best of luck. We will have a full match report next week.

CSPE: The Second Years, as part of their Stewardship of the Environment module, are together with Mr Flanagan, planting flowers at the school. This will greatly enhance the appearance of the school next year.
