Leaving Cert Revision

An Honours Irish Leaving Cert Revision Course will take place in Longford town on Tuesday, 31st March 10am-4pm. An Bhéaltriail (Oral Irish), Essays, Prose, Poetry and Grammar will be covered and notes provided. Fundraiser thanks

The committee of Streete Parish Park would like to thank all who supported Bingo on Monday last. This Bingo was in aid if the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. €2,000 was raised and a cheque was presented to the Cadden family in memory of Martin.

Streete Wildlife Club

Last Thursday night there were over 60 shooters taking part in the club spring clay shooting league and the shooting continues on Thursday evenings at 7pm with the finals on March 26th next. By now all club members’ should have received a copy of the club 2014/15 annual report and we look forward to seeing all our members at the club 37th AGM which is due to be held on this Friday night, 20th March, in the Crossroads Inn, Lisryan at 8.45pm after the club annual mass in St Mary’s Church, Boherquill.

Monster Bingo

Monster Bingo in Granard Sunday next, March 22nd, new Cannon Kelly Hall. Proceeds are in aid of the Granard Visitor Centre project and €4,000 in prize money must be won. Bingo starts at 3pm. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
