Gardaí have this evening arrested an 8th person in connection with their investigation into an eviction incident which occurred before Christmas of last year.

A man in his late 30s was arrested this evening in Co Meath as part of ongoing investigations into incidents at Falsk, Strokestown on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
He is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at Castlerea Garda Station.

This is the 8th person to be arrested in connection with this investigation, two are currently before the courts.
The investigation is ongoing.
