Family Carers from across the three counties met in the Longford Arms Hotel on Friday last to review key items of concern in relation to the latest budget and to consider their lobbying strategy for the coming year.
The meeting was chaired by Mr John Dunne, CEO for Family Carers Ireland, and well attended by interested Family Carers who are keen to work with the organisation on the lobbying project.
John thanked the Longford Arms for their terrific support to Family Carers and presented Suzanne Conboy with a token of his appreciation.
Carers then enjoyed an afternoon of good food, music and fun.
Family Carers Ireland would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone who has supported Carers and the organisation a very Happy Christmas.
