Longford Rugby Club
Longford Rugby Club yesterday lodged a planning application with Longford County Council seeking permission to construct a gym at their facility in Demesne, Longford town.
The application specifically proposes the construction of “a standalone single-storey gym building incorporating gym/fitness areas, changing and toilet facilities, storage and plant rooms, additional car parking areas, connections to existing on-site services, and the carrying out all necessary ancillary site works.”
The application is currently in pre-validation meaning the applicants, in this case the rugby club, have yet to check their documentation, data, and plans, against a validation check list to confirm all required information has been submitted.
So far no further documents had been uploaded to the planning file.
If the application proceeds as expected once the pre-validation has been completed, Longford County Council anticipates returning a decision by April 1.
