A Longford-based food supplement manufacturer, has announced a new nationwide retail distribution partnership with Uniphar Group, marking a major milestone in the company’s growth.

Bioreve Sciences, established in Ireland in 2020, is an IDA-supported client and a subsidiary of Indian pharmaceutical group Zee Laboratories Limited, operating from Gem Park, Longford.

The company has recently purchased its facility and completed a two-year investment programme to develop the site into an ISO-approved food supplement packaging facility.

Bioreve Sciences exports to the UK, UAE and African markets and sells products online across the UK and Ireland. The nationwide retail rollout will see its Bionutrica range of scientifically backed food supplements reach stores across Ireland in 2026.

On its recent announcement, Richard Doggett, Sales Director, said: “We are excited to be rolling out our products across Ireland’s retail stores under the Bionutrica brand. These products are developed in the heart of Longford, and as a guaranteed Irish business we are proud to have full control of our supply chain, from raw ingredients to finished products. In addition, the company recently launched in the UK with Holland & Barrett, receiving strong market feedback."

Company Director Rohan Mukul added that ‘Longford is the ideal base for our European and international growth. We look forward to expanding our services and creating local employment opportunities as we continue to grow.’

Welcoming the latest development Michael Nevin from the Local Enterprise Office said that the company has very exciting plans for the future and is set to become a significant enterprise for Longford.
