Longford has a cosy volunteers evening for those in cluster parishes

We had a lovely afternoon with mulled wine on offer as a greeting, followed by tea/coffee and delicious food in the Aurora on Sunday evening. The Flood family and Séamas Farrell regaled us with céile and old time music, a treat indeed. This was a gathering of volunteers who help and take part in the church life of the cluster parishes of Legan/Ballycloughan, Ardagh/ Moydow.

The Active Age Dinner is scheduled to be held in the Community hall in Ardagh on January 11th 2026. Open invitation to the event.


New volunteers are welcome to join the Committee to add new blood to the present group who oversee the annual event. Advent began on Sunday with new Advent wreaths adorning our Churches in the lead up to Christmas.
