Lucky county Longford winner of Toyota RAV4 or €50,000 in Club Longford draw is announced

Three other winners scooped prizes that included two €1,000 vouchers and a €300 voucher

There was a south county Longford winner of the annual car draw run by Club Longford, the fundraising arm of Longford GAA on Friday evening.

Emily Fallon from Lanesboro scooped the top prize of a new Toyota RAV4 car or a cash equivalent of €50,000 - sponsored by Longford's Peter Hanley Motors.

There were three other prizes on offer, including two €1,000 vouchers sponsored by Elgin Energy and Nally Brothers, which were won by Michael Morrissey, from Lanesboro, and Ozzie Hackett, from Longford respectively.

The fourth prize, a €300 Voucher for the Castle Court Hotel - Sponsored by Source Technical Providers, was won by online player Lorraine Flanagan.

Committee member Martin Skelly said the draw was a 'huge success'.

"It was a record in terms of the amount taken in by Longford GAA.

"It was extremely positive," he added.

Club Longford and Longford GAA said they would like to sincerely thank everyone who purchased tickets for the draw and all those who sold tickets.

The annual car draw run by Club Longford, has been described as a vital fundraiser for covering expenses with fantastic support from local GAA clubs and members.

Club Longford was established in August 2019 for all Longford GAA supporters to offer financial support for the training and preparation of the County GAA teams.
