Garda investigation underway in Longford as man (60s) treated in hospital following alleged assault
A Garda investigation is underway following an alleged assault incident in county Longford.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at approximately 3pm in Drumlish.

It is understood that the victim, a man in his 60's, received treatment at the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar for what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing.
