Man arrested as Longford Gardaí seize €6,000 worth of drugs during planned search
A man was arrested as Longford Gardaí seized €6,000 worth of drugs during a planned search at the weekend.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit conducted a planned search of a residence in the Edgeworthstown area of Longford on Saturday, February 8.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed, "During the search, they seized cocaine and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €6,000, along with drug-related paraphernalia, including scales and packaging materials.

"A man in his late 20s was arrested and subsequently released."

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Investigations are continuing.
