Longford man who pleaded guilty to cannabis possession facing sentence hearing
A defendant who pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis for sale or supply will return before Longford Circuit Court in May.
Trevor Kelly (41) of 16 Ardeevan, Longford initially came before Judge Bernadette Owens in the District Court last Tuesday.
Sergeant Enda Daly said the DPP consented to send the matter forward to be heard in Longford Circuit Criminal Court.
Solicitor Bríd Mimnagh made a legal aid application for one counsel. Judge Owens issued the defendant with an alibi warning and sent the matter forward to the Circuit Court on the defendant's own bond of €300.
