The clean-up is continuing across county Longford in the wake of Storm Éowyn with some road closures in place and many roads have been cleared of fallen trees, poles and debris.
Road Closures
Longford County Council wishes to advise of the following Road Closure; L1041 Esker to Dohertys Cross (R194) on 25/01/2025 until approximately 6pm.
Longford County Council wishes to advise that L-1055 Doherty's Cross to Garvagh is closed due to fallen trees following storm Éowyn. Diversions are in place via Ballinalee.
