A Longford tourism business has made an application to Longford county County Council to develop their offering.
Valerie McGoey Byrne of Glebe House, Ballymahon made the application for a change of use to accommodate a tourism development.
The application seeks to change an existing domestic storage outbuilding to three self-catering tourist accommodation, bed and breakfast, units.
The units will comprise of two units on ground floor level (accessible) and one unit on first floor level.
The permission also seeks to develop a single storey extension to the south-west of the existing storage building and to raise the existing roof height to allow for habitable accommodation on the first floor.
