Longford hairdresser scoops Ireland's Most Stylish Businessman gong

Daithí O Cianan, the owner of The Hair Doc salon in Kenagh, has added another award to his impressive haul of 2024 gongs.

The Kenagh hair salon was acknowledged over the weekend at the HiStyle Hair and Beauty Awards 2024 with a trophy for Ireland's Most Stylish Businessman.

The awards, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork last Saturday (November 24), recognise excellence, innovation, and dedication across various categories, showcasing the best in the industry.

Taking to social media the Kenagh coiffeur said: “I had the most incredible night at the@histyleie most stylish awards ceremony in Cork at the weekend. It was with great honour that I accepted the prestigious award for Ireland's Most Stylish Businessman 2024.”

Daithí continued: “I am truly privileged to be recognised in this way, and for that, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to Michael Mulcahy and all the team at HiStyle for putting on such a fabulous event.”

He concluded: “There are days that I dress up, and then there are days that I love nothing more than an oversized hoodie and trackies, I may not always style them correctly together but for me, style is what you truly feel like you and comfortable in.

“Trends are trends. They come and go, so whatever you feel comfortable in, you wear it and never let anyone's comments or judgement live rent-free in your head. Be you, do you, for you!”

David has been the recipient of a number of awards in the hairdressing industry since opening.

The evening of glamour and celebration honoured the achievements of exceptional individuals and establishments who set standards of excellence in the world of hair and beauty.
