Longford man receives suspended sentence after pleading guilty to reckless driving

A driver who made a donation of €500 to a local charity received a five month suspended sentence at Longford District Court for committing a serious motoring offence.

Ronan Noone (33) of Ballycloughan Carrickaboy pleaded guilty to recklessly engaging in conduct which creates a substantial risk of death or serious harm to another on November 26, 2022 at Toonee, Moydow.

Judge Bernadette Owens was informed that Mr Noone had made the donation of €500 to St Christopher's Services, Longford, as previously recommended by the court.
