Colmcille Vintage Club raises €11,500 for Longford Hospice Homecare

Colmcille Vintage Club presented the proceeds of their recently held Vintage Car and Tractor Run to Longford Hospice Homecare at a celebration in Murtagh’s, Aughnacliffe on Sunday, August 11.

Committee member Michael Shaughnessy welcomed all present and he thanked everyone who donated to the event and all who helped out on the day. 

He extended a special welcome to Mr Michael Kennan from Longford Hospice Homecare who was there to receive the cheque and surrounded by committee members, the grand total of €11,500 was handed over.

On behalf of Hospice Homecare Michael thanked everyone involved in this very successful event as did PJ Mulligan and Kevin Kilbride whose families availed of the service of Palliative care recently. 

Immediately after the speeches the committee did a draw for a number of prizes and the following were the winners. 1 Dolores Fagan, 2 Murphy's bar Lisryan, 3 Ellie Brady Bunlahy, 4 Steven Carrig, Smear, 5 Colm Hagan, Ballinamuck, 6 Gary Cahill, Glanagh, 7 Geraldine Coughlan Centre Parks.
