Fancy some fun after brekkie! Two big fundraisers in north Longford village

Do you fancy some family fun after breakfast this Sunday, July 28? Well if you, then Abbeylara is the place to be.

Abbeylara GAA Club will be hosting their Big Breakfast morning in aid of their Injury Fund on Sunday, July 28 from 9am to 1pm in the Parish Centre (N39 FP77).

This event will coincide with Cemetery Sunday, Abbeylara has said that support "will be very much appreciated".

There will be a €10 Entry, under-8s will get in for free. Those travelling to the event to not need to worry about booking, as you can pay at the door.

A Carnival Fundraiser for St Bernard’s Afterschool will also take place on Sunday, July 28 from 12 noon to 2.30pm at Abbeylara national school.

This promises to be a great family fun day out with many activities including Penalties, Welly Toss, Pegs On-Line, Teddy Race, Go Kart Track, Wet Sponge, Basketball Throws, Face Painting and Ducks Fishing.

There will also be a raffle with prizes on the day.
