Applications sought for youth group funding

Applications are being sought by YouthBank from youth groups for funding to receive equipment/resources or to run programmes for their organisations under specific themes.

Applications are being sought by YouthBank from youth groups for funding to receive equipment/resources or to run programmes for their organisations under specific themes.

“YouthBank is a unique way of involving young people in grant-making within our local community. We give out funds to other youth groups that may need funding to receive equipment/resources or run programmes for their groups,” said Aisling Hardiman, of LEAP youth office in Longford.

“We, your local Youth Bank, are inviting applications for funding under the following four themes Bullying/Cyber Bullying, Drugs and Alcohol, Health/Fitness and Seasonal Programme’s such as St. Patrick’s Day, or Easter Programmes. Applications must adhere to these themes,” she added. Applications are available from LEAP Foroige Office on Earl Street, when you have your application filled out post it back to the same address: LEAP, Earl Street, Longford.

The deadline for the applications is 4th January 2013.
