Person of the year nominees debated

The board of St Christopher’s, local volunteer and Tidy Towns Chairman Andy Dowd along with the Mall’s community employment workers are in line for nominations to this year’s Rehab Person of the Year awards

The board of St Christopher’s, local volunteer and Tidy Towns Chairman Andy Dowd along with the Mall’s community employment workers are in line for nominations to this year’s Rehab Person of the Year awards

All three were discussed as possible candidates at last week’s meeting of Longford Town Council.

The televised awards are held each year to pay tribute to those people who have made a lasting and substantial contribution to society.
