A Longford sporting fixture and the Ballinamuck Olde Fair Day have been postponed.
The organisers of the Ballinamuck Olde Fair Day, scheduled for Sunday, July 16, were left with little option but to cancel their eagerly awaited event as their 'fair field' was flooded and 'like a lake' as they posted on their own Facebook page.
While the Longford Minor Hurling Championship Final between Longford Slashers and the combination of Wolfe Tones and Clonguish which was due to throw in at 5pm today, Saturday, July 15 in Devine Park Edgeworthstown has also been postponed.
