Book of condolence opened at Longford garda station for murdered detective

A book of condolence has been opened at Longford garda station for Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe, who was shot dead in Dundalk on Friday evening.

A book of condolence has been opened at Longford garda station for Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe, who was shot dead in Dundalk on Friday evening.

Garda Donohoe was part of a patrol escorting a cash delivery to the Lordship Credit Union on the Cooley Road in Dundalk at approximately 9.30pm, when they were attacked by four men who escaped in a grey Volkswagen Passat.

Anyone wishing to sign the book of condolence can do so at Longford garda station until Wednesday.
