Cavan and Leitrim Railway at Dromod to feature on RTÉ's Nationwide
The Cavan and Leitrim Railway at Dromod are to feature on RTÉ's Nationwide television programme.
Nationwide are undertaking a number of railway related features this week, and will highlight the work of the Cavan and Leitrim Railway (Dromod) this Friday evening, April 21 at 7pm on RTÉ One.
Colm Flynn of Nationwide visited Dromod, and interviewed a number of volunteers who are involved on the railway.
The railway museum offers guided tours for members of the public along with a short journey along a section of the original Cavan, Leitrim and Roscommon Light Railway and Tramway Company that linked Dromod with Ballinamore, Belturbet and Arigna.
The museum is open Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays until September. See the Cavan and Leitrim Railway Facebook page for more information.
