Longford native Paul Leavy met with An Taoiseach Micheál Martin during an Enterprise Ireland trade visit to Manchester.
Mr Martin visited Manchester to mark the strengthening of Irish and UK business relations in the North of England.
Mr Martin met with nine Irish companies active in the region, including John Sisk & Son, PM Group, KPC International, ESB, TTM Healthcare Solutions, CRS Refrigeration, Spectrum Life, Crest Solutions and Future Ticketing. Also in attendance was former Manchester United and Republic of Ireland soccer legend Denis Irwin.
From Clondra, Paul Leavy is the Business Success & Development Manager for Future Ticketing, a supplier of ticketing software services, capacity & data management, access control systems to the sports, events and venues markets.
A past pupil of and All-Ireland Colleges medal winner with St Mel’s College, Paul previously worked for IBM in Operational & Management roles, managing country (Italy), International Competency Centre (Madrid) & global teams, including remote teams in both English & Italian.

Exports by Enterprise Ireland clients to the UK reached their highest levels in 2021, growing by 15% to €8.4bn and account for 31% of total exports. Over 1,600 Enterprise Ireland clients export to the UK, including 112 first time exporters to the market.
