The annual Christmas market is organised by the voluntary local group, Spin Longford.

It will run, Saturday and Sunday, November 23 & 24 and December 1 & 2 from 12 noon to 6pm daily.

The market takes place on the Square and will feature many artisan producers and will be a great spot to pick up quirky gifts.

Lisa Daly is one of the organisers and told the Leader that the market will feature stalls selling food, handbags, accessories, handmade gifts and jewellery and much more. She said: “We have a really great mix of stands this year and and many of them are Christmas themed and will certainly help foster the festive mood.”

Spaces in the market are very keenly priced too at just €50 for three days and for more information or to book a spot contact Lisa on 089 492 4637.
