Santa Claus himself, will be arriving at Longford's Market Square tomorrow afternoon.
The main man himself, Santa Claus, will be arriving to a special grotto on the Market Square, Longford this Saturday at 12 noon. The main man will be attending the annual Christmas market for the next two weekends.
He is looking forward to meeting all his little friends and each visitor will get a present subject to a €6 charge.
Parents and guardians are invited to take their own photos.
The annual Christmas market is organised by the voluntary local group, Spin Longford.
It will run, Saturday and Sunday, November 23 & 24 and December 1 & 2 from 12 noon to 6pm daily.
The market takes place on the Square and will feature many artisan producers and will be a great spot to pick up quirky gifts.
Lisa Daly is one of the organisers and told the Leader that the market will feature stalls selling food, handbags, accessories, handmade gifts and jewellery and much more. She said: “We have a really great mix of stands this year and and many of them are Christmas themed and will certainly help foster the festive mood.”
