Bus Eireann suspends services in Co Longford tomorrow
The company has also suspended services throughout Leinster and Munster on Thursday.
“There will be no further commuter or rural services in the East – where there is a red warning – for the duration of the day,” a spokesperson added.
“Most other services in the rest of the country are operating albeit with delays and some minor curtailments.”
The company went on to say that in light of the ongoing and increased weather warnings issued by Met Éireann as well as information received from the National Emergency Coordination Group.
The spokesperson added; “The situation will then will be reviewed”.
Bus Éireann said it services in Connacht and Ulster are all scheduled to operate tomorrow and Friday, but at the moment, all of that is subject to road conditions.
