Viewmount House in Longford has been named the Georgina Campbell Country House of the Year for 2017.
The awards are currently taking place at the Bord Bia Irish Food Board Office in Dublin.
The popular eatery’s head chef, Gary O’Hanlon tweeted live from the event this lunchtime, saying: Honoured to have won the @IrelandGuide Country House of the Year 2017. #LongfordAbu#GCAwards
