Great excitement is building in Bunlahy this week as Niall and Paul Belton make final preparations to host the rescheduled Longford Ploughing Championships this Sunday, April 14.
The main sponsor for the event is Midland Agri Consultants, Granard.
The event was postponed three weeks ago due to wet weather.
Our records show that the last such postponement was back in 1986 when frost was severe and the ground was frozen solid.
The exciting lineup of family entertainment and fun activities remains full to the brim.
This time around visitors have an extra hour on the clock and added daylight time to enjoy the attractions.
