The late James Joseph Dalton, No 121 Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford
Sadly we record the death of JJ Dalton (James Joseph) of 121 Teffia Park, Longford and and formerly of Kilcommock, Kenagh, County Longford, which occurred after a brief illness on Tuesday, December 12 at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Jimmy Joe, as he was better known, was in his mid seventies and he was a highly skilled watch and clock restorer.
He was a native of Kilcommock, Kenagh where he grew up and attended Kenagh National School.
Having lived in his native Kilcommock during his teenage years from where he worked locally before he moved to Teffia Park where he settled down to married life.
Predeceased by his sister-in-law Angela, we offer our sincere sympathy to his wife Rosie, son James, brother Eugene, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Kathleen, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.
He was laid to rest in Ballymacormack cemetery after his Funeral Mass on Friday, December 15 in Saint Mel's Cathedral.
