Longford Agricultural Show will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 on the grounds of Gerry Hagan, Ennybegs, Killoe.

The Show has grown substantially over the past two decades and is now recognised as one of the best events for families and exhibitors alike in the Midlands with people travelling from all over to attend and participate.

Show Secretary Bernie Whyte explained that the work for the 2024 shows starts in January and the present committee needs new members to come on board and take an active part in the running of the show whilst  attending regular meetings from March through to July.

She added, “We especially appeal to the younger generation to become involved with the assurance they will find their involvement with this long running event very rewarding. The Show cannot continue without this help.”

The Longford Agricultural Show AGM will be held in Moydow Community Centre on Monday, December 4 at 8pm and Ms Whyte said they look forward to welcoming everyone there.

All enquiries welcome to 087 69334313, Bernie Whyte, Secretary.
