Storm Debi has definitely left her mark in Longford with thousands hit by power outages, while rail and road travel has also been severely disrupted by fallen trees.
Iarnród Éireann has said the 06:12 Longford/Pearse service was stopped near Ballymahon after striking another tree.
Club Ardagh preschool will remain CLOSED today. There is currently a tree down blocking road between Club Ardagh and Heritage Centre.
Cllr Paul Ross has posted on Facebook that the N55 is partially blocked at Carrickboy on Ballymahon side ; Legan to listreena road blocked ; Tree down at the top of the Castlepollard road going into Edgeworthstown.
There is lots of debris on N4 longford to Edgeworthstown.
There is a tree down on Mullingar road Ballymahon side of Centre Parcs but passable on R392; another tree down Mullingar side of Rathconrath not passable on R392 ; Rathaspic Rd , Rathowen blocked just beyond grave yard and Lisryan to edgeworthstown road tree blocking road
