Longford County Council are advising road users in the Ballymahon area to expect delays as road works are causing disruptions.
The local authority has made an order to close the Local Road R392 An Draighnean Estate, Ballymahon.
The closure which commenced last Friday, October 27 will run to next Friday, November 3, 2023.
The hours of closure will run from 8:00am to 17:00pm. Local diversions are in place, with temporary traffic lights controlling traffic flow.
This road closure is required for drainage works. In the interest of road safety, all road users are requested to follow diversions and heed all signs.
