Fabiani owner Louise Brennan with Punchestown Best Dressed winner Nomi Brennan
Award winning Longford boutique Fabiani raised fashion stakes to a whole new level last week as store employee Nomi Brennan scooped Best Dressed award at the Punchestown Racing Festival.
Thirty-two-year-old Nomi wowed judges at the famous Kildare racetrack with an exquisite satin pink dress by Kim’s Vargas and contemporary mule from Dutch brand Wandler, both of which came stocked exclusively at the main street Longford store.
Nomi's exploits saw her clinch the trip of a lifetime for two the home of Bollinger- a money can't buy prize.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, Nomi told of how she had been left stunned by the news.
“I've never won best dressed or anything like this,” she said.
“I am delighted, I'm speechless, I wasn't expecting it all, I feel like I'm in shock.
“As soon as I saw this dress, I knew this was my dress.
"I adore it. The colour, the volume. It’s from the shop. We stock premium labels from all over the world."
Also included is a flight to Paris, a five-star hotel stay and a Michelin dining experience as well as an exclusive private tour of Bollinger's vineyards, cellars and garden and an overnight stay in the Champagne region.
Following her victory on day two of the festival, excitement was abound in the trendy women's fashion store after its owner Louise Brennan was also selected among the Best Dressed finalists on day two of the festival. There was also another Longford finalist in the guise of Fiona Mulleady.
"Nomi's dress is now completely sold out - the reaction we have had is overwhelming," said an elated Louise when speaking with the Leader.
Louise paid a glowing tribute to Nomi moments after news of her victory was announced.
“Nomi has been working in Fabiani for almost 2 years now,” she said.
“She's an invaluable part of our team, offering expert style advice to all of our clients who travel from far and wide to shop at Fabiani.”
The feat was one which also saw the luxury boutique see its own social media and Instagram follower channels go into overdrive.
This latest award represents yet another coup for the luxury Longford boutique and follows hot on the heels of it was named Fashion & Footwear Store of the Year at the AIBMS Retail Excellence Ireland Awards 2022 last November.
Nomi's success brought the curtain down on what was a week to savour for Longford in Punchestown.
In the region of 1,000 racegoers from the county had earlier in the week descended on the home of Irish jumps racing for the annual Longford GAA Race Day.
And while the on track plaudits were dominated by the King of Closutton and more specifically champion trainer Willie Mullins, off track Longford can now rightfully call upon its own fashion queen in the form of Fabiani's Nomi Brennan.
