Grattan Óg Oskars presents, Take Me Out, a fundraising event for the club. Friday February 10 is the date with The Longford Arms set as the venue for the event.
Grattan Óg GAA club have revived the old favourite fundraiser.
“After an absence of over a decade, it’s back, and better than ever!” organisers Michéal Wall said.
The Take Me Out will see 10 lucky lads attempt to score a date with the girl of their dreams.
Preparations are well in advance, but Mick says the organisers are still looking for some ladies to put the male contestants through the test to see if they will Take them out: “We are looking for single lads and lassies to meet the potential love of their life on Valentines Weekend in the Longford Arms.”
Love is in the air for more that just the contestants Michéal said: “This promises to be a great nights entertainment, finishing up with a disco with DJ Mick and we will be bringing back the ‘slow set’ for one night only. We hope you can join us for an evening of cuddles and craic.”
