Bríd Reilly White at Scoil Bhríde Killasonna NS
There was great excitement around the corridors of Scoil Bhríde Killasonna NS in Granard on Monday afternoon as author Bríd Reilly White returned to her alma mater and read extracts from her newly published book, ‘The Teacher who Barked at the Dog’.
Principal Colm Conlon explained that as a past pupil of the school, ‘it was a particularly special occasion to welcome Bríd back to share her journey as a writer with our pupils’.
Mr Conlon added, “Bríd spoke to the children about her work, explained how she creates her stories, and encouraged them to develop their own creativity and love of reading and writing.”
